Larnaca bus route diversions due to road works at Afxentiou street

Due to road works at Afxentiou street the road will be closed from 17.07.2014 until further notice.
Because of this, the bus routes will be diverted as follows:

 

City routes: 417, 418, 419, 421, 422, 423, 426, 429
Regional Routes: 407, 408, 409, 410, 412, 413, 414, 415

Description of diversion for the above services:
Starting from Central Station to Philios Tsigaridi road (against Social Security) then Afxentiou and diverting to Loukis Akritas (Peroutsiou) where there is an emergency stop. From there you will proceed to Markou Drakou (PEO) and will continue the route to Nicodemus Mylonas (Road Metro and the American Academy). From there the bus routes will continue as normal.
For the return journey due to the closure routes will be diverted to Nicodemus Mylonas (Metro and the American Academy), make a stop and further serve passengers heading towards the center and Central Station.

Diversion for the above routes can be seen on the map in pink.

 

The route 425 is affected as follows:
On return from Larnaca Airport to be directed to Apolonios Kitieos and will enter the Stadiou street (Opposite Old G.S.Z). Then will be directed to the Road Loukis Pierides that is Municipal Library, and will proceed to Nicodemus Mylonas stop. From there passengers can disembark to go to the Old Hospital. The route will then proceed to Markos Drakos (PEO), to Loukis Akritas (Peroutsiou) and Afxentiou street to continue the journey as normal.
Diversion for the above routes can be seen on the map in blue.

 

The route 424 is affected as follows:
Passengers of Route 424 to the Old Hospital will be served by the Central Station in Road Philios Tsigarridi (Against Social Insurance)
